The boy has been found safe and is back with his family. He was found just before midnight last night.

Shreveport Police are asking for your help to find an 8-year-old boy who apparently ran away from his home in the Highland neighborhood.
Family members report the boy identified as Zyrakem Copeland left his home in the 200 block of East Dalzell Street. Copeland was wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and was walking with a dog that was off leash. Copeland is 4’8” tall and weighs 80 pounds. He was last seen at about 5pm Monday afternoon.

Investigators and officers are actively combing the area. Police are asking anyone who sees Copeland to contact police immediately at 318-673-7300 option #3.
