“Paint Your Heart Out Shreveport” A Success

The "Paint Your Heart Out Shreveport’’ campaign celebrated it's 20th Anniversary over the weekend th, as volunteers fanned out in several neighborhoods to paint or perform minor repairs on nearly 40 homes.

This is one of the Shreveport’s signature events and hundreds of volunteers donate their time each year to paint the homes of low-to-moderate income elderly and/or disabled citizens. Qualified homeowners receive a fresh coat of paint to their homes, along with smoke alarms, deadbolt locks and other cosmetic services.
