An overnight wreck leaves a Shreveport teenager dead. Caddo sheriff's deputies say 17-year-old Justin Hightower was traveling north in the 3100 block of Roy Road, when his Ford Ranger pickup veered off the road. Crash investigators say it appeared that Hightower overcorrected and traveled back across the road, driving into a ditch and flipping his truck. He was not wearing a seat belt, and was partially ejected from the vehicle. A motorist spotted the crash around five this morning and called the Sheriff's Office. Hightower's family members say they had been trying to reach him by phone -- and even drove around the area last night searching for his vehicle. They'd last talked to him around 11 last night, after he got off work at a local grocery store. The accident is still under investigation.
