Officer Fired For Alleged Interference With Murder Investigation
Lashell Crawford has been fired for allegedly assisting a homicide suspect during a police investigation. Shreveport Police Chief Allan Crump announced that Crawford was fired for allegedly texting information to Jacorey Wilson to help him avoid being captured by police. Wilson was wanted for allegedly shooting and killing Rolandreon Fischer on January 29th.
Aside from being fired for departmental violations, Crawford is also facing the criminal charge of accessory after the fact to a second degree murder.
