NSU Welcome Week is Coming

Northwestern State University in Natchitoches will put out the welcome mat this weekend. Beginning Saturday, it's NSU's Welcome Week, which begins with Move-in Day from 8 a.m. til 3 p.m. Faculty and staff and members of the Natchitoches community will help residence hall students move into dorms. Sunday at 5 p.m. is the annual New Student Convocation in the A.A. Fredericks Auditorium. That marks the beginning of formal education at NSU for new students. Classes start Monday, August 22nd. Demons on Tour will be set up near Kyser Hall to give directions to new students -- and an information station will be set up in the Student Union Ballroom from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Other events will take place throughout the week.
