Household Names That Started Right Here

Of course, no list starts without Duck Dynasty. The Robertson family of West Monroe turned duck calls into an empire, with millions tuning in to watch their bearded brand of family, faith, and Southern wit. Then there’s Billy the Exterminator, where Bossier City’s own Billy Bretherton battled bugs and critters with rockstar flair and a heart for people in crisis. Both shows not only entertained but gave national audiences a taste of what makes our area different in all the best ways.
