A nasty wreck had the westbound lanes of I-220 over the Cross Lake Bridge shut down for several hours late last night, but fortunately no one was seriously hurt.Shreveport Fire Department officials say it started when a car headed west rear-ended a van. The van's gas tank leaked and both cars went up in flames. The two occupants in the car were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The van's driver refused treatment at first, but was then sent to Christus Schumpert after complaining of neck pain. No one has been ticketed in the crash.
