New Plan to Reduce Heat on Death Row

Louisiana Corrections officials have submitted a new plan for heat relief on death row at Angola.

The inmates would get a daily cold shower and personal ice chests in their cells and more fans under this compromise submitted to a federal judge.

Shreveporter Nathaniel Code is one of three death row inmates who filed suit over the hot conditions on death row. Code was convicted of killing several people in the mid 80's.
