New Orleans Gets Wrestlemania: Why It Matters [VIDEO]

The Superdome in New Orleans will be hosting Wrestlemania 34 in April of 2017. In much the same way that a Super Bowl gives a massive economic boost to the area, so will this event, which some say could bring at least $200 million to the state's economy.

When the same event was held in the Crescent City just shy of three years ago, the economic impact of the week long festivities were estimated to have brought more than $140 million to that part of the state.
