UPDATE: Police have arrested the suspect wanted for killing a Shreveport toddler.


SHREVEPORT, LA - The Shreveport Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating 22-year-old Demond Baber, a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that left a one-year-old child dead.


On February 11, a shooting occurred in the 500 block of East Stoner, resulting in the tragic loss of an innocent life. Detectives have identified Demond Baber as a key suspect in this incident and have issued a warrant for his arrest on one count of second-degree murder.


Two suspects have already been captured in connection with this crime. Laterrion Watts and Deanthony Griffin are already locked up and facing charges in this violence incident. The Shreveport Police Department is urging anyone with information on Demond Baber's whereabouts to come forward immediately. Your assistance is crucial in ensuring that justice is served for the victim and their family.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty.
