
Multiple Felons with Firearms Arrested Over the Weekend

SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police nab multiple felons with firearms over the weekend.
The Shreveport Police Department proactively works to take illegally possessed firearms off our streets. The following offenders were arrested and charged after being found to be convicted felons armed with firearms after being prohibited.
Agents with the Shreveport Police Street Level Interdiction Unit arrested Kenny Howard (9-18-99) on September 7th around 7:17 p.m. during a narcotics arrest. He was found to be a convicted felon armed with a firearm and the firearm was also found to be stolen.
Shreveport Police Detectives arrested Cortez Porter (11-25-91) on September 8th around 10:54 a.m. after he was found to be a convicted felon armed with a firearm during a search warrant in the 1500 block of Audrey Lane.
Shreveport Police Patrol Officers arrested Gabriel Hill (4-20-81) on September 8th around 6:56 p.m. after he was found to have been a convicted felon and was prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Officers with the Community Response Unit arrested Trevon Fuller (3-13-93) on September 10th around 3:57 a.m. after officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Commerce Street. Fuller was contacted by officers and found he was a convicted felon.
All Firearms were seized as evidence. All are considered innocent until proven guilty
