Of course, Louisiana is known as the "Sportsman's Paradise", so SUV's actually do make some sense for us here in the Bayou State.  But another vehicle that almost seems like a right of passage in Louisiana is the pickup truck.

According to a recent report by JD Power, the most popular vehicle sold in Louisiana is, not surprisingly, a pickup truck.  And since we don't yet have our flying cars, my pickup will do just fine.  In fact, I have the number 5 on the list of Louisiana's favorite trucks, and I absolutely love it.

Today, pickup trucks come in all sizes, engine types, 2-door, 4-door, and, although Americans don't seem to want them, but that's another story entirely, even all-electric models are available.
