Three proposals will be on the ballot for Caddo Parish Schools this weekend. The three tax millages would generate about 45 million dollars in funding Caddo schools annually.

One of the proposals goes toward teacher salaries and would collect 34.1 million dollar every year for 10 years. the second would help pay for renovations and up keep and bring in 8.6 million a year for 10 years. The third funds technology resources and would bring in a little over 2 million a year for 10 years.

The millages are already in effect for Caddo property taxes, this weekend's vote will be to renew the proposals. The proposals were originally from a bond that passed in 1997, and were renewed once in 2006.

The $45 million is about 10% of Caddo Parish Public School's annual budget.
