A meet and greet with Griffon begins at 5:30 with the meeting beginning at 6pm.
It's free to attend the gathering. But if you want to eat, dinner is $15. No RSVP is needed. You can expect Griffon to talk about the election, but he is also expected to speak about Governor John Bel Edwards' response to COVID-19 and the damage being done to businesses across the state.
The petition to recall Governor Edwards is also expected to be circulated during this meeting. Hundreds of local voters have signed this petition during several signing events across Shreveport and Bossier during the past week.
The State Republican party has repeatedly urged the Governor to ease the restrictions across the state and let more businesses open up.
