Bossier City police and Bossier Crime Stoppers need the public's help locating a man wanted on criminal charges and for questioning about recent residential burglaries.

Detectives have an arrest warrant for 30-year-old Tony Payton of Shreveport on charges of possessing stolen things and theft.

An investigation found Payton pawned two large, flat-screen television sets that were taken in a residential burglary earlier this month. The possession charge stems from Payton being in possession of the stolen TVs, and the theft charge is the result of the pawn shop being at a financial loss, since it gave Payton money for the TVs.

Detectives also want to question Payton about the burglary, as well as others that have happened in recent weeks.

If you know where he is, you're asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 318-424-4100.
