LSU fans are known for being passionate and they're proving it this week in Omaha, NE at the 2023 NCAA Men's College World Series. Sure, fans of the purple and gold have been accused of being over the top, but we support our Tigers and we love to have a good time.

Want proof? Look at what's happening at the College World Series this week. A fun promotion that started back in 2019 at Rocco's Pizza in Omaha has now become a point of pride for fans. Rocco's sells jello shots in the team colors of the eight schools that make it to the CWS tourney for $5 each. For fun, they have a tote board that keeps track of each school's 'spirit.' As you can see, LSU fans have clearly accepted the challenge, digging deep into wallets and punishing their livers.

LSU has taken a comfortable lead. To put things in perspective, a total of 31,215 shots were sold last year. The record Ole Miss set last year didn't stand a chance. In fact, the challenge has become such a big deal, Dana Beers from Barstool Sports was on hand.

If you're a fan of Dana's, you'll like his 'man-on-the-street' interviews with LSU fans in Omaha, including a special cameo from Todd Graves, Founder and CEO of Raising Canes, who purchased 6,000 jello shots alone, which may just set a Guinness World Record for the most jello shots bought by a single person. BTW, be careful with the video below. A lot of the language used isn't suitable for work. Hello?!?! Its drunk and excited LSU fans lol

We're so excited LSU battled back out of the loser's bracket last night beating Tennessee and will now get another crack at Wake Forest tonight at 6 pm. We're sure there will be another LSU family reunion today at Rocco's. Geaux Tigers!
