If you want to watch LSU play Alabama in person at Tiger Stadium on Saturday night you'll either need to have your ticket in hand or need to have a lot of cash on hand to get a ticket. Ticket prices for the college football game of the  year (so far) have been increasing in price almost by the hour as game time approaches.

Seat Geek is an online ticket broker and according to Chris Leyden, who works with the website, the average price in the resale market is $372 per ticket. That price is subject to change with time and depending upon where in the stadium you choose to sit.

Right now you can spend right around $200 to get in the door, and then I actually saw we had some seats that are pretty close to the field for right around $400.

The best prices for the better seats are on the Alabama sideline. If you can stomach the surrounding company you'll pay about 28% less to sit among houndstooth-clad disciples of Saban. Leyden, in his remarks to the Louisiana Radio Network, said 11% of tickets purchased on the site have come from Alabama, banjo on their knee not included.

Alabama is currently ranked as the #1 football team in just about every major football poll in the country. After a very slow start and a coaching change, LSU is starting to hit their stride. LSU boasts superstar talent and Alabama boasts a 20 game winning streak.

The game will be televised in prime time on CBS Saturday night. If your couch isn't good enough and you really want a good seat for the game you could shell out $2,814 for a club seat ticket. I am thinking my couch and a bathroom with no line are looking a lot better than what I would get at Tiger Stadium for that price.
