12 Lowest Rated Shreveport Movies on IMDB
Lionsgate/Jim McCullough Productions/Skyhawk Films/Millennium Films/Canva
We often talk about the glory days of Shreveport's filming industry, and we do spend time talking about the future of filming in the region too. Usually when we do this, we talk about the blockbuster movies that have come before. The ones with the big budgets, or big box office returns. Or we highlight the best in each genre, like romantic comedies or scary movies. But what if we looked at Shreveport's filming history through a different lens? Maybe a not-so-shiny one...
Today we're going to look at the lowest rated films in Shreveport's filming history.
To do this, we're not going to rate these movies ourselves. Because movie ratings are very subjective; each person likes what they like, and hates what they hate. However, when enough people agree on the same take, there's probably something to it. For example, when something has a very high user rating across numerous platforms, its probably good. And of course, that swings the other way too...when something is universally hated across platforms, its probably bad.
Then there's examples of when movies are so bad, they get good. Whether you call it "camp" or just so-bad-its-good, when some movies are done poorly, they find an audience that appreciate them. Some of the movies on this list actually do fall into that bucket.
In fact, there are two specific movies on this list that have developed cult followings over the last couple decades.
On our list here, we have two Andy Sidaris films that have both found cult status since they were released in the 1990s. These particular films are full blown B-movie productions, made to be obvious tongue-in-cheek content. While they have low ratings among the majority, they are loved by their fans.
