Bizarre Arrest: Police Find Naked Man Inside Louisiana Lowe’s Display Shed

Imagine it's Mother's Day in Louisiana, and you decide to take your mom to Lowe's so she can find some nice flowers that you can plant for her. When all of the sudden, multiple police draw their weapons and surround a display shed in the parking lot.

That would be the least shocking part of this story.

Police Respond to Unusual Call at Slidell Lowe's

On Sunday, May 11th, 2025...Mother's Day...police were called to the Lowe's Home Improvement on Natchez Drive in Slidell, Louisiana around 5pm with reports of a naked man inside one of their display sheds. When police arrived, they started searching shed by shed down the line in the parking lot. Eventually they found that man, and more.

According to KLFY-TV, the Slidell Police Department, they responded to the scene and started searching the sheds on display in the store's parking lot. Eventually they came upon a shed that was occupied. But it wasn't just a nude person inside.

Naked Lowe's Suspect Found and Apprehended

The NewsStar reports that a Slidell Police officer drew his taser, and approached the individual. What the police observed was a man lying on his back, and with his pants around his ankles. The Slidell officer then ordered the man to pull up his pants, roll to his stomach, and place his hands behind his back. The suspect complied with the orders, and did not resist the arrest.

Lewd Act Allegedly Committed Inside Lowe's Display Shed

Allegedly, officers recovered an open package of Vaseline and an electronic device from inside the shed that were in the man's possession. Fox 8 reports that the man admitted to the officers that he was committing a lewd act inside the shed. He was then arrested and booked on Obscenity charges.

Police Emphasize Suspect Not From Slidell

Slidell Police mentioned to every news outlet, and clearly wanted it known, that the suspect is not from Slidell.
