Local Woman Featured in Essence Magazine

Have you seen all those social media posts about "how hard did aging hit you"?  Folks post a picture of themselves from 10 years ago next to a picture from today.  In most cases, people are concerned when they see the change.  People talk about how their weight has changed or how they've gained weight or have more wrinkles.

You can see the change in most, but there are a few people who actually look so much better now than they did 10 years ago.  This is true for my dear friend, Vivian Andrews.  She has lost 140 pounds in the past 9 years and she is actively involved in TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). She actually looks 10 years younger than her photo from 10 years ago.

Andrews is even featured in national ads for TOPS in Essence Magazine.  She says it has been a lifestyle change for her. She reminds anyone struggling with this that it has to be something you are dedicated to.
