Local Troops Headed Home!!

It will be a happy beginning to the month of October for several local families. Members of Bravo Company, 1/23rd Marine Reserve Unit.

The Marines will arrive on 2 separate flights from California where they are being processed to head back home. About 150 Marines based at the local reserve unit were deployed nearly a year ago to Afghanistan. There will be a welcome home celebration at the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center on Swan Lake Road Saturday at 3pm. We say a big welcome home and THANKS to the soldiers!!
