Sand Beach Properties LLC has filed a lawsuit against the City of Shreveport, claiming they are due compensation for discovering a problem with the City's Water Department Billing System. The error cost the city roughly $1 Million in revenue.

The suit claims that city officials improperly took information about the error and used it to internally correct the problem. They also claim that City Attorney William Bradford signed a non disclosure agreement stating that the city would not use the information Sand Beach provided without consent and compensation.

The Company is seeking 25% of revenue generated from fixing the error or $10,000 for each violation of the NDA, whichever amount is greater.
