Large Amount of Pot Found on Greyhound Bus in Shreveport
Caddo Sheriff's Deputies found over 20 pounds of pot on a Greyhound bus yesterday morning. The deputies were conducting a routine check of buses at the downtown Murphy Street facility when a K-9 hit on a duffel bag full of marijuana.
The bag contained 25.8 pounds of pot with an estimated street value of $115,000. There was no identification on the bag, so no arrests have been made. An investigation into the discovery is on going.
The bus was coming in from Dallas Texas and was scheduled to stop in Grambling and Ruston before traveling to its final destination in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
