Bossier City police arrested a man over the weekend after he stabbed his brother with a knife during an altercation at their residence. Arnold G. Thuringer, 58, of Bossier City was booked into the Bossier City Jail on a charge of second degree battery and resisting in connection with the incident.  Police responded to Thuringer’s house in the 2500 block of Lavonne Circle at just after midnight Saturday in reference to a stabbing. When officers arrived they found Joseph Thuringer, 54, with a stab wound to his chest. Officers then made contact with Arnold Thuringer at the scene. Bossier City Fire Department personnel took the victim LSU Hospital in Shreveport with a wound that is not believed to be life threatening.     Upon further investigation Arnold Thuringer was taken into custody and booked into jail. He was subsequently transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility. His total bond is set at $16,000.
