Shreveport Political Blogger Arrested for Soliciting Prostitute

SHREVEPORT, LA - A former Shreveport attorney is facing legal trouble today. John Settle who know owns and operates Focus SB/The Inquisitor has been arrested in a sting operation by Shreveport Police.

KEEL News has learned Settle was arrested at a downtown hotel on Friday. He is charged with solicitation of a prostitute. This is the second time he's been arrested on that charge in the past few years. Settle was arrested back in March of 2019 at a hotel on East 70th Street in Shreveport. He pled guilty back then and paid court costs and a fine.

Settle is a former attorney who now blogs about local news and politics.

Shreveport police officials tell KEEL News Settle was one of the suspects arrested in the sting which is ongoing. No other details about other suspects has been released yet.

KEEL News has reached out to Settle for comment on this latest arrest but he has not yet responded.
