Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at the age of 76.

"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," his family said in a statement released on Tuesday (July 22). "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis."

Osbourne recently performed a farewell concert on July 5 in Birmingham, England, a show that featured numerous guest musicians. There was also a performance by Osbourne and the original lineup of Black Sabbath, something that had not happened for two decades.
