A young man is dead after a fight broke out in a Baton Rouge, Louisiana bar.

According to WAFB News, Devin Michael Repath was declared dead by doctors this past weekend after no brain activity was detected.

Repath was reportedly involved in an altercation at Fred's, which is a college bar near the campus of LSU, and was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The fight that ended up taking the life of this young man happened at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23.

According to the report, no arrests have been made in this case, but Baton Rouge Police say the investigation is ongoing.

JP Repath, who is the father of the young man who died, says that police have informed him that his son's death is being investigated as a homicide. Family members elected to remove Devin from life support so that his organs could be donated to those in need.

Police are scanning through video surveillance from the bar in hopes of identifying those who may responsible for the death of Devin Michael Repath.
