If you didn't already know, the LSU Football program is basically an NFL player factory. They just keep making top level NFL players year after year. Whether its #1 overall picks like Joe Burrow, Pro Bowl players like Danielle Hunter, Odell Beckham Jr., and Patrick Queen, All-Pro talents like Tyrann Mathieu and Tre White, or Super Bowl Champions like Devin White and Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Even though LSU has always produced NFL level talent, it feels like the number of NFL Draft picks from the Tigers' program seems to keep growing. More and more top level talent is coming from Baton Rouge.

This year will not be different. The LSU program might have two picks in the Top 5 players drafter, and might get three players in the Top 10. Of course, these projections are coming before the NFL Scouting Combine even takes place. That could mean these particular prospects could jump even higher. But it also means they could be jumped by other players too.

The top of this year's LSU crop includes wide receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas, Jr. as well as quarterback Jayden Daniels.

While Nabers is rated higher in the most comprehensive Mock Draft composite we could find, it's Jayden Daniels that will probably be the first LSU player taken this year. Because you have to consider the player needs of the teams that are selecting near the top of the draft.

With a large number of top picking teams in a need of quarterbacks, Daniels demand will be high. But its likely that Nabers and Thomas will both go quickly too.
