I'm that lady you've probably seen on social media griping about the neighbors and their fireworks. Call me Karen.

I know I might annoy some folks, but honestly, I couldn't care less. I've got two pups, both of which are elderly, and an 18-year-old cat. And let me tell you, they're not the best at keeping control of themselves when they get scared. Plus, I've got several horses on my farm who could also get easily startled. Ever thought about how much damage a scared horse can do? Vet bills, busted fences—it's a nightmare, not just for my wallet but for those poor animals too.

So, why not leave the big fireworks to the pros downtown? It saves everyone a lot of hassle and keeps my furry friends—and our eardrums—happy.

I'm all for fireworks, don't get me wrong—I find them magical and romantic... But I can't stand kids having bottle rocket wars in the street or Roman candles shooting off all over the place. Look, I get it, people are going to light up fireworks. But if you're going to do it, do it responsibly, alright?
