See Comedy Legend Jeff Foxworthy Live At Margaritaville
For over four decades Jeff Foxworthy has made us laugh and in September we'll have the chance to see him up close and personal as he hits the stage at Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City.
Foxworthy's website explains his global success as "Southern-fried humor that speaks to anyone who’s ever driven a pickup, patched something up with duct tape, or seen a porch couch. But it goes beyond the redneck essentials—Foxworthy’s lightning-fast banter, tart storytelling, and clean-but-tongue-snip delivery put him at the pinnacle of comedy. Hunting, domestic life, or just plain idiotry, he has the ability to make the ordinary lead to comedy gold."
Of course it takes one to know one and that's the reason that Foxworthy perfectly crafted the ongoing comedy routine of "You might be a redneck."
Foxworthy's fame took to new heights with his regular appearances on television including his "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which aired from 1995 to 1997 and his even bigger role as host of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" that aired on Fox from 2007 to 2015.
I honestly don't recall having Foxworthy ever appear in Shreveport/Bossier before, but that will soon change.
According to Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City, Jeff Foxworthy will appear at the Paradise Theater on Saturday, September 19 at 8:00 pm.
Of course this is for audiences 21 and over and according to Ticketmaster.com, there are a number of great seats left for the show starting at $67.25 plus applicable sales charges.
