2026 Fishin’ for Kids Bass Tournament Set for Toledo Bend

Over the past decade, the Fishin' For Kids Despino's Tire Bass Tournament, has become of each the largest annual events on Toledo Bend.

And while most every angler would have never believed that the gang from Despino's could make this tournament any more attractive, the Despino's crew just announced an even larger payout for this year's event!

This year's tournament will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 out of Cypress Bend Resort and the winners will receive a brand new 2026 Phoenix 819 ZXL bass boat, valued at $62,750.

2nd place team will receive $12,000, 3rd gets $7,000, 4th wins $5,500 and 5th place will also pick up a guaranteed $4,500!

Of course, the ultimate winners will be the kids of Children's Miracle Network!

Over the past decade, since the inception of the Despino's Tire Fishin' For Kids Bass Tournament, they have successfully raised over $550,000 for the children in our local community.

Entry Fee, Weigh-In Site And Other Important Facts About Despino's Tire Tournament

This is a two-person team tournament, but anglers can choose to fish alone as long as they pay the full entry.

Entry fee is $260 per team and that includes entry into the Big Bass pot. Registrations are being taken NOW online HERE. (If entering online, there is an additional $10 service charge)

Weigh in will be held at Cypress Bend Park on Toledo Bend.

There will be on-site registration at Cypress Bend on Friday, March 13 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Again This Year, No Forward Facing Sonar Allowed During Competition!

In an effort to put this tournament on an even playing field for all comers, forward facing sonar will NOT be allowed during tournament hours. However, forward facing sonar CAN be used during practice on Friday, but at no time on Saturday during tournament.

Additionally, no guides are allowed to participate in this tournament.
