318 Restaurant Week has officially come and gone, and for dozens of small businesses in our area, this past week provided a much-needed economic boost.

With more than 50 locally owned restaurants across Shreveport-Bossier serving curated specials at $10, $15, $20, and $25, our community got a front-row seat to the stories, heritage, and flavors that define the Ark-La-Tex.

But why do we need initiatives like 318 Restaurant Week? The answer is simple: We are the original influencers. Gone are the days when a restaurant could thrive on local foot traffic alone.
