Jay Leno In Texarkana This Saturday At The Perot and a Car Show
No, we're not kidding. Jay Leno, from TV, will be here in Texarkana this Saturday, October 26 for two events, the Four States Fall Auto Show and a fundraiser stand-up comedy show at the Perot Theatre. I already know your next question, why?
We got you...
Jay Leno will be here for two events, one is to entertain you and help raise money for renovations to the historic Perot Theatre. The former star of The Tonight Show, hard-working comedian, actor, voice-over artist, car lover, and host of one of my favorite TV shows, Jay Leno's Garage will be performing his comedy routine Saturday night at the Perot. Tickets are still available starting at $77 through the Perot Box Office. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
Speaking of Jay Leno's Garage, did you know the show has a new home? You can now find it on RIG TV, with the same great content. The new season just began on September 30. You can find RIG TV streaming on platforms like Roku, Freevee, Fubo, Google TV, Sling TV and Plex.
If the train below looks familiar, and it should, that's the same Big Boy Locomotive that was here in Texarkana recently. Check out the segment on Jay Leno's Garage YouTube Channel.
Speaking of Jay Leno and automobiles...
The Four States Auto Museum is excited to host its Annual Fall Auto Show this Friday and Saturday, October 25-26, 2024, featuring the Jay Leno as Grand Marshall on Saturday. This two-day event promises an amazing showcase of vehicles and participants who register their vehicles will automatically be entered to win a trip for two to tour Jay Leno's Garage, including airfare and accommodations. You can enter multiple vehicles to increase your chances of winning.
The auto show will take place at the museum grounds located at 217 Laurel Street, Texarkana, AR, and will include special highlights such as military vehicle displays from the Red River Army Depot and a thrilling showcase by former Top Fuel drag racer Jim Burgess, who will fire up his 1960s Nostalgic Top Fuel Dragster. Additionally, Rudolph Svobota will bring a chalkboard-painted car for attendees to unleash their creativity.
Every registered participant will receive a commemorative license plate and be entered into exciting door prize drawings. While attendance on Friday is encouraged for People’s Choice voting, vehicles can remain overnight with security if desired. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday at approximately 3 PM.
