National radio host and speaker Patrick Coffin talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about what he - and many others - see as a connection between contraception and the growing use of pornography.

Coffin, who's show can be heard online at coffinnation.com, will be in Shreveport Monday evening, June 25, at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church. His appearance is part of the cathedral's ongoing God, Sex and the Church series which continues monthly through the fall.

Coffin tells KEEL listeners that making the connection between society's acceptance of contraception and growing acceptance of porn is "a large, great white shark bite," and admits that "I'm definitely going against the grain and a little bit upstream." Coffin, who holds two graduate degrees in theology, also makes the case the the Catholic Church and, specifically, Pope Francis, are not softening their positions on those topics.

Hear Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty weekday mornings from 6 til 9 on 101.7 / 710 KEEL, or by downloading the free KEEL app, presented by Office Furniture Source.
