Interstate highways can get potholes, too.  It happened this morning on Interstate-49 southbound near Pierremont.

Department of Transportation and Development Area Engineer Greg Wall says some of the concrete chipped away at one of the pavement joints.  A repair crew was dispatched and was able to repair the hole with a bucket and a half of "cold-mix" -- that's about 7-1/2 gallons.  Wall says the repair was made quickly and workers moved on to other pavement problems.
