INSPIRING WOMEN WEEK – CAPTURING THE ESSENCE OF WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
The Commission for Women of Bossier City has expanded their activities
during Women's History Month by offering "Inspiring Women Week"
to honor women in the community. This educational and activity filled
week of March 28 - April 4, 2012 is sponsored by the City of Bossier City.
Their signature event which is the Inspiring Women Week Luncheon will be held on April 4, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Bossier Civic Center. The theme of this year's event will be "Honoring Women in the Military" featuring presentation by Major Sarah Hall, USAF. Ticket costs: $25 each
Proceeds from this event will benefit: Providence House Domestic Violence Program and Barksdale Air Force Base Family Support Services.

March 28 - 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - Kickoff Breakfast at the Bossier Civic Center featuring Keynote Speaker Eydie Comeaux - Tickets $10 each
March 29 - 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Alive at Five at Ralph & Kacoo's
March 30 - 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Face Fair at Willis Knighton Bossier Auditorium featuring Josephine M. Futrell, MD and Sarah E. Glorioso, MD, Dermatologists - Tickets - $6 (Box Lunch Included)
March 31 - Zumba Class 9:00 a.m. - Asbury United Methodist Church, 3200 N. Airline Dr. OR Bossier Council on Aging, 706 Bearkat Drive - $5 each
April 1 - Family Day. You are encouraged to spend a day with your family and attending the church of your choice.
April 2 - 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Cooking Class at BPCC, Building F, 2nd Floor - Tickets - $10
April 3 - 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - Breakfast/Personal Finance Seminar at BPCC featuring presentation by Sandy Cimino Building F, Room 203 - Tickets $10Inspiring Women Week
