Congressman Mike Johnson from Louisiana talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the 9th Circuit Court ruling that continues the stay on President Trump's temporary immigration ban.

Last evening the lawmaker posted on Facebook:

"It is no surprise that the liberal 9th Circuit just upheld the temporary restraining order blocking President Trump's executive order on immigration. As I have explained in numerous interviews this week, THE CONSTITUTION AND OUR FEDERAL STATUTES CLEARLY GRANT THIS AUTHORITY TO THE PRESIDENT. The White House should appeal immediately."

Johnson explains why the court was in error in interpreting the pertinent statute and calls on his experience as a Constitutional lawyer to opine on the Trump administration's next move, maybe even going to the Supreme Court.
