How To Start Cosplaying Just In Time For Geek’d Con

With Geek'd Con right around the corner, there are a lot of people putting the finishing touches on their cosplays for that weekend. But while that group finishes working on their projects, there's a whole different group considering doing a cosplay for the first time ever.

Most people have worn a costume before, for Halloween or a high school play, or something else. But cosplay for an event like this is just a little different. It's more about celebrating a character, franchise, or genere than trying to just make it through another Halloween.

Now cosplay can be expensive, and time consuming, but it doesn't have to be. There's a few ways to go about it, especially if it's your first time.
