Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Operation: Safe Passage Leads to 65 Traffic Stops

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office has completed a one-day operation called Safe Passage, which aims to discourage unsafe driving behaviors.

During the operation, Deputies conducted targeted traffic enforcement to promote safer roads and tackle public safety issues.

Operation Safe Passage resulted in 65 traffic stops, leading to 31 citations and 29 warnings. The operation resulted in five arrests as well, including one felony arrest and four misdemeanor/summons arrests.

Increased law enforcement presence enabled CPSO Deputies to address traffic violations while ensuring visibility throughout the area of the operation. The results will also help the Sheriff's Office in evaluating future traffic enforcement efforts and crafting effective deployment strategies.
