Lloyd Thompson, President of the Shreveport chapter of the NAACP, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his organization's position on the upcoming $186 million bond proposal.

The proposal, which will be on the ballot for city voters on November 16, will fund the building of a new police station, purchase new fire trucks for the SFD and pay for a number of long needed road projects. But, as Thompson readily points out, folks around the city still need a lot of convincing before they vote "yes" in a little more than two weeks.

Hear Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty weekday mornings from 6 til 9 on 101.7 / 710 KEEL, or by downloading the free KEEL app, presented by Office Furniture Source.
