How Many Shreveport Schools Have Highest Graduation Rate
We are quickly closing in on the end of another school year. High school graduation celebrations kick off in just a couple of weeks. Seniors are now preparing to walk across the stage to get that coveted diploma and move on to the next phase of life.
We wanted to know what schools in Louisiana are the best performers in terms of graduation rates. The state data shows a long list of schools with graduation rates greater than 95%, but the numbers don't list the schools by the ranking of performance.
This latest data available from the State Department of Education is from 2021. Numbers from 2022 are expected to be released early this summer.
I recently checked the numbers and found only one Shreveport Bossier High School on that list of schools with a graduation rate topping the 95% mark. Caddo Magnet High School is the lone local school as one of the top performers.
