A woman is found on fire in the duck pond on East Kings Highway. It happened just before 6pm when residents nearby saw the woman flailing around in the water.
Nic Billiot and her brother Lee Banitky saw the woman in the water. They actually did not know it was a woman but they quickly realized something was wrong.
The woman would not respond to them and she flipped over face down in the water. That's when they both jumped in the water to get her to help.

This happened on the Duck Pond near Shreveport Barksdale Highway just before 6 last night.

The woman suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 90% of her body.
