Healthy Shreveport Restaurant Closes Abruptly

SHREVEPORT, LA - A south Shreveport restaurant popular for folks who love to eat healthy has apparently closed its doors. A "for sale" sign has been posted in the window of this spot.

The Green House Salad Company on Youree Drive in front of Sam's Club looks to be out of business. I did see the tables and chairs still inside the business this week. But the property is obviously up for sale. I did not spot a sign on the door saying the salad spot was closed. But lots of folks on social media have posted messages that it's now closed.

Green House has been one of my 'go-to' spots for healthy lunches. I love to get them to build a custom salad with avocados, mushrooms, onions and that delicious pomegranate vinaigrette. I'm going to miss having this quick salad option available.

Green House Salads is known for having farm-fresh vegetables and house-made vinaigrettes, The Green House team not only did custom salad bowls, but you could also get some delicious fruit infused waters.

We have learned the current owner had to relocate to another city. The franchise is available for a new owner to step in and open the salad shop back up at the same location which would include all the fixtures inside the business.
