Groundhog Sees His Shadow….More Winter

The legend lives on.  Punxsutawney Phil came out of his groundhog home in Pennsylvania and quickly saw his shadow which means six more weeks of winter.

Phil is forecasting six more weeks of winter for the entire country.

Thousands gathered for the ceremony and you could hear growns coming from the crowd when Phil saw the shadow at Gobbler's Knob, the tiny hill in Punxsutawney, which is about 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.    If you are keeping track of it, Phil has now seen his shadow 100 times and hasn't seen it just 16 times since 1886.
