
Shreveport Police Make Arrest in Broadmoor Shooting
Shreveport Police Department detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit have made an arrest following the shooting that occurred on April 24th just after 4:00 p.m. in the 3800 block of Greenway Place.
Darryl Williams was arrested and booked into the Shreveport City Jail for one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder.
The incident unfolded after officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators determined that the shooting resulted from a confrontation between an armed man and the current boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend. During the exchange of gunfire, the ex-boyfriend was struck several times.

The injured victim was transported to a local hospital in life-threatening condition but is now expected to recover, although he remains hospitalized in serious condition.
The Shreveport Police Department is continuing its investigation into this incident and will provide further updates as the case progresses. Additional information obtained from witnesses aided investigators in making the arrest of Darryl Williams.
