Governor Bobby Jindal stopped off in Shreveport this afternoon to sign two more bills into law. One extends the state's digital media tax credit -- the other extends and expands the state's technology commercialization tax credit. The governor says the bottom line on both bills is "jobs!" Jindal says both bills will help to keep the state's best and brightest in the state and bring back others who have left for what they thought were greener pastures elsewhere. He says the tax credits have already helped companies like Moonbot Studios, Twin Engine Labs, and Embera Neuro Therapudics get started and grow rapidly right here in northwest Louisiana. Jindal says the two tax credits have already shown a six- or seven-to-one return on investment for the state.
