Governor Bobby Jindal has given no indication he will fire Paul Rainwater as his Commissioner of Administration following his arrest this past weekend for a DWI. Rainwater was arrested early Saturday morning in Baton Rouge on first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, and failure to obey a stop sign. Jindal says Rainwater made a poor decision, but he says Rainwater has admitted he made a mistake and he believes he's still the right man for the job. As Commissioner of Administration, Rainwater crafts the state's operating budget and monitors spending throughout the year. Jindal says he still has confidence Rainwater can do his job as Commissioner and it's time to move forward.
