Governor Might Skip Republican Convention
Bobby Jindal might sit out another golden opportunity to get on the national stage.
The governor claims he may skip his planned speech at the Republican national convention this week because of Tropical Storm Isaac. Jindal says he won't go to the three-day Tampa, Fla., event if Louisiana remains in the path of the storm.
Jindal has been scheduled to speak tomorrow night, but he says he's not thinking about the convention or politics right now. The Governor says as long as Louisiana is in harm's way, he will remain in the state, doing his job.
