GASOLINE PRICES SPIKE RAPIDLY

A big "ouch" at the gas pump. Gasoline prices have spiked up more than 20 cents in the past week. Last Monday we were paying -- on average -- $3.01 for a gallon of regular unleaded in Shreveport/Bossier. This morning, AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report says that average price is $3.23. But it's even more in other places. The statewide average is $3.26 and the national average is $3.37.
