Garbage Collection Delays in Shreveport

The Memorial Day holiday, plus several unexpected truck breakdowns last week, have garbage collection running a day behind schedule in Shreveport.

City workers say things should return to normal by Thursday. Friday's collections will be finished up today, today's will be done by tomorrow. Tomorrow's collection begins in the afternoon and will be completed Wednesday, and Thursday's collection will begin and end the same day.
